How to Win SOTM



Let's face it, all of us famous site owners enter an SOTM contest once in our website owning lives, right? Well, have you ever actually wanted to win that contest? If you have, here is how to do it.

Step 1

Most SOTM contests have a poll, and the public votes on who wins. A lot of the time, that poll even lets you vote! So vote for yourself! Even if it doesn't let you vote more than once, in a day or so, you can. That is how most people try to win, by getting a few votes themselves.

Step 2

If you can't vote for yourself, then make people vote for you! To do this, make sure your site is well known, and is fairly well. If it isn't, add more graphics, guides, or anything else your site offers. Are you lacking Hiatus signs? Add more of that! Do you need a few more Webmaster guides? Make that your main goal! Because if you want to get peoples' attention, you should probably have good content. Another thing that helps is having layout(s). And make them amazing! This way, your guest's first impression is a very good one!

Step 3

If you have a good layout and content, it is time to get the word out that you want to win. If the contest you signed up for has a button, add that button everywhere, in Cutenews, your site, everywhere imaginable! You want the visitor to want to be amazed at how much you want to win, and you want them to click that button! The only downside to this is that they could actually vote for another site....
