Firefox 2 VS. Internet Explorer 7

Symbols

Explorer:                                                 Mozilla 2:

Winner: Internet Explorer
Even though it is only a High-tech looking E, it isn't as drab and old fashioned as the fox. Plus, if you look at the fox for the first time, you would never guess it is a browser. IE (Internet Explorer) takes this easily.

Cost

Internet Explorer: Free

Mozilla Firefox: Free

Winner: Tie
Both are free, for now anyway.

Good Features

Internet Explorer: It now offers new tabbed browsing, which Firefox has been offering forever. The good thing is is that it supports scrollbar colors and a lot of different CSS. It is definetly the best browser for web design.

Firefox: Firefox has revolutionized computers with the great tabbed browsing effect that they have had the entire time. What is great, for me, is that the text doesn't explode of the screen. It is a good size and fits. Another great feature is the protection. With the firewall, it is very hard to get a virus. It makes every day web feel super safe.

Winner: Mozilla Firefox. With its' amazing and tabbed browsing, smaller fonts, and smaller toolbars, it makes Internet Explorer die to the ground in weekness.

Bad Features

Internet Explorer: Really really bad security. They should just put a warning sign when you are downloading it. Also, they seem to sometimes have problems like "the font is too big" or "I can't see the favicon". There is also no customization. So sad...

Firefox: You can never see scrollbar codes, and other cool CSS tricks sometimes. The image on the cursor doesn't work sometimes either.

Looser: Internet Explorer. The cons are so much bigger than Mozilla's.

So who wins?

After a hard decision, Firefox really does win. There are just so many possibilities. The only bad thing is the web design problems. Other than that, it rocks! I suggest you download it immediately and use it as your main browser. For more info on other browsers, visit my dear friend Vanesa's site, icyprism.co.nr. The gives you more info on all browsers.
