A Wii is a new video game system that can do a lot of things. This is one of a bunch of guides I am going to write on video game systems. In this guide, I will explain what a Wii is and name some games for the Wii that you might like. To read more on the Wii you can go to, www.nintendo.com and select Wii. It tells you about new games, tips on the Wii, and how to set it up.

What is a Wii?

A Wii is a virtual game console complete with a place to play the game cube. The Wii may look a little weird, but it can be laid two different ways. It can be laid upright and sideways. In case you are wondering what the Wii looks like, here is a picture. That is a Wii standing upright with the remote. Anyways, with the Wii, you can go online, make a Mii, and buy games from old video game systems.

Making a Mii

A Mii is a little person that resembles you on the Wii. You can make it a guy or a girl, make it mad or happy, or give it facial hair. On the Wii, one of the buttons next to where the game is, is Wii Miis. The Miis are your people to do as you please with. You can play the Wii Play games with them, Mario Party Eight, and Wii Sports as them. The Wii comes with the Wii Sports game free.

Video Games

Some of the games for the Wii are new like Guitar Hero 3 Rock Legends or they are old games made new for the Wii like The Sims 2 Pets. You can go to the Wii shopping channel and select video games that you love from previous game systems like the legend of Zelda Orcana of Time, or Street Fighters. You have to have Wii credits or just buy them with your parent's permission and their credit card. My Sims is a new game for the Wii and DS. Anne happens to have it and she tells me it is AWESOME! There are so many more video games than what I have talked about in this guide so go and check them out!

Definitions

Guitar Hero 3 Legends of Rock: Guitar Hero 3 is the third of an amazing trilogy. This is now for the Wii, Playstation 2, and Xbox 360. It features many more songs than the first two and two new bosses. The characters have all new looks and so does the guitar. It is now wireless and styling. It comes in two different colors. Black and white. Mario Party Eight: Mario Party Eight is the eighth in the series. It features a lot of mini games, classic Mario characters, and cool settings. People like Donkey Kong help you collect stars, and people like Bowser don?’t help you by throwing you back to the beginning. You can play as people like Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Yoshi. That is the game, most of the cast, and the start menu.

My Sims: My Sims is a game a little like animal crossing. The people look a little similar, but that is about it. To find out more, talk to Anne.

Super Paper Mario: Super Paper Mario is the sequel to Paper Mario. It has new "sidekicks" called pixels that give Mario special powers. Some classic characters such as Luigi and Peach are here to help you find out where the all new villain Count Bleck's hideout is while you face battles with Mr. L (Luigi when he is brainwashed), Dimentio, and many more people. Also there are secret scenes from people we can't reveal just yet. Every time you get a Pure Heart you unlock one of the eight secret doors to different villages.
