The Nintendo DS isn't as new as the Wii, but it is just as much fun. The Nintendo DS can play game boy advance games along with the DS games. BEWARE the Nintendo DS games are small and tiny. They are easy to loose and are hard to find. Believe me I know from experience, I've lost five games so far.

Colors

There are many different colors to the DS. I have a red one. The colors are red, blue, silver, white, black, pink, and crimson (red and black). White, black, pink, and crimson are all from the DS Lite collection. What's the difference? A DS Lite's screen is much brighter than the original DS. You can't get the original DS in many stores anymore because they changed them the Lites.

Accessories

The DS has a lot of accessories. Some of them are little chains that you can put on a case, others are skins that go directly on the DS. You can get most of those at your local Game Stop.

Features

The Nintendo DS looks a little like a miniature laptop. It has two screens. The bottom screen is the most used. You use the stylus on it to control where you are going, and you can also draw thing in picto chat on it. The top screen is basically used for seeing things. In animal Crossing it shows you the sky, and the bottom is where everything else is. In Nintendogs you have to train you puppy. To get it to learn the tricks, you have to speak into the microphone. The microphone is on the bottom part of the DS next to where the Game Boy games go.

Wi-Fi allows you to connect to the internet on the DS, and to play games with your friends in different games. When you get Wi-Fi, you get something called a friend code, which helps you connect to people all over the world. On the start menu, it says the name of your DS game, that you have a Game Boy game in the drive, Picto chat, Main Menu, and other stuff. Picto chat is a chat program already installed into the DS. You can chat with people near you in the four chat rooms. There is a catch though. You can type out what you want to say, but there is something else you can do. You have to draw what you want to say! This is very fun to do!
