Perfect Town Guide

This guide is about how to get a perfect town, and the Jacob's Ladder flower. To do this, you need to be patient or else it won't work as well as it should. When you do get the perfect town, you do not have to thank me, well OK, if you must, then you're welcome. Okay, now that I am finished with my little introduction now, I'll introduce you to the official PERFECT TOWN GUIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please enjoy this guide. ^_^
There are several things to worry about when making a Perfect Town. The post office in your town can be of some help with telling you specifically what needs to be improved, but after a while you get the same message that keeps telling you that your town is ok . . . but it is still not perfect. To find out the status of your town, talk to the clerk in the left window (either Pelly or Phyllis) and ask about the environment. If your town is perfect, Pelly says, “[Your town’s name here] is a great place to live! It really has come a long way!” Phyllis gives you a similar message (adding that if you were to ask her how long it would last, she’d be skeptical) If they say anything other than that then there’s something wrong with your town. Here’s where to start:
WEEDS
The first requirement is quite simple: WEED YOUR TOWN. This is one of the more obvious steps, but necessary nonetheless. It seems as though you can get away with having 3 or 4 weeds, and still have a perfect rating, but why risk it? A good way to keep track of your weeds is to pick 3 weeds a day, because each day, three weeds grow in your town. So as long as you pick that many, you shouldn’t have a problem.TRASH
Don'’t drop trash on the ground! Just because this is a virtual world, it doesn’t mean you can still litter. Please try to pick it up. Trash comes from the ocean. It can be a boot, a tin can, or a tire. To get rid of it you can sell it to Tom Nook (you won’t get any money for it though) or you can drop it into the recycling in town hall.
FLOWERS
Next, you should make sure that flowers are everywhere in your town. If you get a message from Pelly saying, "I think adding more green to this town would help" (or a similar more sarcastic message from Phyllis) that could POSSIBLY mean that you need more flowers. Remember. You can never have too much flowers! The flowers can be put anywhere, next to trees, around Nooks shop, etc. The flowers have to be arranged so they are all over your town. An easy way to be sure you have enough flowers in your town is to buy all of the flowers in Tom Nook's shop and plant them in different places in your town. If you have the last expansion for Nooks shop he sells 7 flowers a day. If you are going to bring friends to your town, ask them to bring over some flowers with them. Buy flowers from other towns too. Don't forget to plant them by the beach, Town Hall, the Museum, etc. Also, don't forget to plant around your neighbors' houses. If your flowers die, water them instead of plucking them. There is a good chance that if you catch them earlier then they'll come back to life. If you don't see a lot of flowers in one area, try to plant some there. You can use this as an opportunity to plant hybrids, which are mentioned on other sites like www.animalcrossingcommunity.com and google.
TREES
At the post office ask about the environment again and when Pelly says something about the environment, and if she says something SPECIFICALLY about trees, then you guessed it, there is something wrong with the trees. Phyllis has a message that says "I think the problem is with the trees! (We need more of em!)" Pelly says that your town needs more green, which could also mean you need flowers, too. Or you just need to pick up some fruit off the ground. Trees are probably the trickiest parts of perfecting your town.It can get really frustrating when you go to the post office and are told that you need more green, so you plant some more, then you go back, and are told that there are too many! That happens because of spacing. Spacing is key when planting trees in your town. Sorry, but for those of you who have an orchard . . . sorry to have to tell you this, but it HAS to go! First of all, make sure that no two trees are touching. The rule is, if you can move in between two trees (like run in between them) then they aren't touching. If they are touching, buy an ax and chop one tree down, and dig up the stump. So far it's simple.
Next, you need to make sure that trees are put everywhere in your town. Remember, NO TOUCHIE! Too many or too few in one area will come out as a not perfect rating. There are a few easy steps for the trees. A good method of perfecting your trees is as follows:
Go to the post office and ask Pelly or Phyllis about the environment. If Pelly or Phyllis says that says that there are too many trees, look around town and look for an area that doesn't have as many trees, then look for one that has a lot. Chop down ONE tree and go back and talk to the ducks again. If they tell you your town is not perfect, that there are too many trees, or that you need more green, that means that there are not too many trees in one area. If they still say this, continue the process until your town is perfect (chop down a tree in a crowded or random are and go talk to them again) until you don't get the too many trees message. If you get the not enough trees message continue with the step below. *Remember: Pelly and Phyllis will give you the “too many trees” message before they give you the “not enough trees” message. In other words, too many trees takes another meaning even if there are not enough trees in one area. You could have too many trees in one area and not enough in others, and you would still get the “too many trees” message, don’t plant another tree in the same area though- you will still get the “too many trees” message again! Instead plant trees in different areas.
FRUIT
There are a lot of people out there that have said that they had fruit on the ground while having a perfect town. For that fact, I think if you have fruit on the ground you can still have a perfect town, but still why risk it??? So you might want to go around and pick up all of your fruit that you left lying on the floor. Poor fruit...
ITEMS
The same thing can happen if you have too many things lying on the floor- you might get the more green message again. so I suggest you pick it up(AND DON’T LITTLER!)After
In the end, keep everything off the ground, don’t litter, pay attention to the plants, etc. By doing this for a few days, you should be able to have the perfect town.
