House Expansion Guide
By AnneHome is where your heart is, and its where you put your trash! This guide will help you keep your house organized and even build extension to it. You start in a small home and a very small living space, and you will soon run out of all the room for the items you have. But for you to put more items in your house, you need to have more room. How do you do that? Well this guide will tell you how.
To pay off your debt for your house, go to the town hall, the left window, and select pay off debt or something similar like that. When Pelly or Phyllis says something like, "*shock on face* You payed off your debt!" Then go to Tom Nook and talk to him. Then he will ask you if you want to change the color of your roof.
The Bedroom:
Your house will start off as a 2-story house and the upstairs is your normal bedroom. This is where you can "sleep", make phone calls to the Service Center, or change your bed.
When you "sleep" you are actually saving your game but, when you start your game you can't save right away you need to step out of your house, talk to Tom Nook for he will give you a job at his store.To call the Service Center there should be a phone on the right of your bed.
To change your bed, just go to the bottom of your bed and press A or B on your DS.
1st floor: 19,800 bells
This house is the starting house and it is tiny just like Tom Nook's beginning house. It's the house where the magic is, its where your "honey" is, and is your lovely humble abode that you pay rent to Tom Nook until you pay it all off!
1st expansion: 120,000 bells
YES! I finally have more room to put my stuff!
Now this house may not be the MANSION that you wanted but things are looking up. It's a good improvement from the first house.
2nd expansion: 298,000 bells
NOW WE ARE TALKING!
Wow! Your house is now 3x bigger than your original house! Maybe there's room for that Totem Pole set you've been wanting to put in!
2nd Floor (3rd expansion): 598,000 bells
Next stop, 2nd floor! Your expanding house
now has a second level to put your
Regal Series in! Now your starting bedroom
moves up as a 3rd floor!
2nd Room (4th expansion): 728,000 bells
Not only does this expansion give you a
new room but now it gives you a bigger chimney!
So take out that fireplace and start roasting some marsh-mellows!
3rd Room (5th expansion):
With a new 3rd room, you can make your
own museum or shop for flea market days and make Tom Nook a run for his bells!
4th Room (Final Expansion): 948,000 bells
Wow! Your mansion that you have always
wanted! You can make a hotel out of this house!
And make Tom Nook a run for his money!
For a hotel, you can make it like 2,100 bells per night!
